Lukas Maverick Greyson is an interdisciplinary artist, photojournalist, global healthcare advocate, and humanitarian.

Greyson is an advocate for global healthcare equality, infectious disease prevention, education and humanitarian causes. Currently providing patient care for comprehensive case management programs at the Mount Sinai Institute for Advanced Medicine in New York City. He continues extensive healthcare advocacy, humanitarian, and educational outreach in war-torn, rural communities throughout Africa, India, and Asia.

He established MEND, the revolutionary program and fashion brand by Invisible Children, sewn by Ugandan women who escaped war and immense poverty. Lead Designer for GAP's Product Red that raised awareness and funds for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. And Creative Director for Patick McMullan, photographer and columnist of cultural icons, politicians, and power elites.

 

Greyson's work has been published worldwide and is respected for his documentary style and empathetic approach to capturing profound beauty and tragedy of survival. He graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Fashion Design, multiple gold and silver thimble awards, honors and the distinguished Designer of the Year award.

 

​Greyson lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Elizabeth and two daughters.
